January - February Series Overview

One Thing: We can follow Jesus.

Memory Verse: For God so loved that world that He gave His only son. John 3:16  

WEEK 1:
Jesus Calls the Disciples – Luke 5:1-11
Jesus teaches from a boat, helps Simon Peter and his brother catch fish, and calls his first disciples.  

WEEK 2: 
Jesus and the Samaritan Woman – John 4:1-30
Jesus talks to a Samaritan woman at a well and reveals that He is the Messiah, the Promised One sent to save all people. 

WEEK 3:
Jesus and the Children – Mark 10:13-16 
Jesus welcomes little children, taking them in His arms and blessing them. He teaches that His kingdom belongs to those who are like little children.   

WEEK 4: 
Jesus and Zacchaeus - Luke 19:1-10  
Jesus seeks out a tax collector named Zacchaeus and asks to be a guest in his home. Zacchaeus changes his ways, and Jesus welcomes him back into God’s family.  

WEEK 5:
Jesus and the Ten Men with Leprosy – Luke 17:11-19
Jesus shows great care for ten men with leprosy when He heals them. Then, He honors the faith of one, a Samaritan, who expresses gratitude. 

WEEK 6:
God Sends Jesus – John 3:16-17 
God sends Jesus to be our friend forever because He loves us so much!
